Floor Destroyer

That day I figured someone must have key to my appartment and go there when I’m not home.

It was one of the first sunny days of winter and during the afternoon I had been outside with a colleague for a smoke. While we were sitting there, a girl sat down about 5m from us. She was wearing pants with a pattern that reminded me a lot of the tiles I had put in my little hallway.

I bought them on amazon and some of the reviews said the glue is not the best and the corners might come off. But none said the tiles would move.

It took me a whole day to place them, the cutting of the pattern was not 100% accurate. To make the pattern match everywhere the tiles had to be puzzled together.

Around July 2022 one tile started to be out of order. I placed it back, but eventually it would slip. I thought that I must have moved it while walking over it in the morning being in a rush. For some time, I came home, realised the tile had slipped and placed it back. At some point I gave up.

This is how it looked on February 15th.

These tiles do not slip. The glue is super sticky. The tiles are as described in the reviews. Super sticky, but missing some glue on the edges, so eventually the edges lift a bit. But they do not move by themselves!

All this time I thought I had not done it well enough and I was dissappointed of myself.
