XV. The devil
Linked with Capricorn. Associated with pleasure and gratification. We cannot find complete freedom without examining our dark sides first. This card relates to card 6 numerologically (1+5=6) and bears resemblances to the Lovers. Instead of Cupid, however, we see Pan, the goat-god. The couple can release themselves by letting go of each other and escaping from the web of illusion. The Devil dominates the couple. His third eye forces them to confront their inner demons, obsessions, fears, delusions and traumas. The caduceus is the wand of vision and intuition. The Hebrew character Ayin is the symbol of the eye, and represents insight.

How can she let go? She feels like she is caught in a trap. An allseeing eye has been watching her like it was 1984. She has no words for how disgusted she became in the meantime. Why does the date have to be a stupid dance? So he can show off his conquest? Look everybody, a legend doesn’t need words to win a woman’s heart!
She has no chance. Any dance she will go to, there will be people how know that “she is his”. Horror. He buttered her up with the music so much that now she is stuck on a one way street. It’s either about living his fantasy or move away, live a life in anonymity and change her taste in music.

This project is not about just one night. Maybe it was in the beginning. The first invitation didn’t work, the concept of speaking with music was too weird for her. Also at that time there were still corona restrictions, airfare was high and she didn’t feel like going all by herself to a dance in a country she doesn’t understand the language. And now what? Does he want to celebrate a wedding on the dancefloor? And then? Put her in a golden cage and feed her only with his music.

How can he let go?
