The legend

A musician in love will most probably write a love song to impress his interest. A dramatic wooing mind might think; just one song is not enough. Just one mix is not enough. It needs to be a symphony, he is a legend after all.

First step: he builds a yellow machine which he feeds with all the songs he owns. He invites her to listen. She is amazed. When she discovers that he actually is behind it and made this machine just for her, she falls for it. The most romantic gesture imaginable.

But the yellow machine alone is not enough. He engages the red machine to play his songs. What if she gets lost? Of course this is exactly what happens. She goes on holiday to visit her friends and family and has no time for the yellow machine. Her friends always listen to the red machine. Snap! She’s lured into the trap. From now on, every time she listens to the red machine, the yellow machine is talking to her or the red machine tells her to go the yellow machine. One day she has enough of red and yellow and goes to the good old black machine. He even occupied that one. No escape.

After her mental breakdown she firstly turned off all electric devices for a week and then she starts deleting all contacts and suscriptions related to him. He is omnipresent. It seems as if he studied every little list of likes she had anywhere to infiltrate her virtual spaces. Stalker.

She reduced his ability to watch her from afar but it didn’t stop him. Through the still available channels he sends her messages in regular intervals. If she goes to a music event, there will be messages as well. The music that opens her heart turns into torture.

She didn’t know that he was such a legend. From the outside he looked to her like one of these collectors with a small business that looks more like a hobby. Now she understands, he likes to operate in secret. He is the puppeteer that pulls all the strings.

With that encompassing symphony he leaves her no choice. She has to agree to his will, if not she will forever be the girl that turned the legend down. What a stupid thing to do!
