Truth or fiction

She spent too much time in a fictional world. She never cared too much about how all these technical things work. Now, after a big anxiety attack everything unusal looks super suspicious. Today she looked at the search history of a search engine she thought she never used. It had 222 entries and three of them didn’t make sense to her and she cannot remember searching for these. Conclusion of the voice of anxiety: someone must have hacked her account. In reality she probably just forgot about the things she was looking at six months ago.

The isolation continues, most of her friends and family think she has a psychosis. Maybe it is true, her perception is selective. A few years back she decided to believe in a world full of magic and part of that believe is that the universe will send you signs if you need one. She practiced asking for signs for a few years, it works.

Someone asked her if she has proof of the things she saw. She doesn’t. She hears or reads something and then she knows for herself. But she knows now, too much time in a fictional world paired with anxiety can have a heavy effect on the brain. Especially if the brain was trained in shamanic sessions to envision inner pictures.
