I wake up with an eery feeling. The night before I had heard a song on the radio where the lyrics described pretty exactly my family situation and what I had told Hara Katsiki in our Zoom session on the Saturday before.
I call in sick and then contact my Saunaklub friends who are tech-savvy. Luckily F. has instantly time and we have a video call. I explain to him that I had been listening to the Disco Magic Radio a lot and that now I have the feeling that I am being watched because the songs that are played are reflecting too much my personality and what is going on in my life. And I ask him if it is possible that someone hacks my computer and can see what I do on my computer.
He listens, then he shows me a few links. Some for checking for viruses and one is who.is where you can check where a domain is hosted. The server is in south holland, there is no name shown.
F. tries to calm me down and says it is very unlikely that I have been hacked and he doesn’t believe me the story of the radio and says, it is best if I take some time off.
Later that day I have a video call with B. and P.. I try to explain to them what I am experiencing with the radio and that ifm is also involved. I also try to show them the messages I had found on discogs. They look at it but don’t believe a word. They also try to calm me down and P. says to me: “Why would someone be interested in stalking you? The Italoheads have no reason to do that and I don’t believe they have an interest in you.”
The talk ends with them being very concerned about my mental health and the advice, I should stay away from these things for a while. They also advice me to contact a professional computer service to check my computer, so that I can feel better.
