Surfing on discogs is kinda 3D. The surface is 2D, but soon it turns into a weird text adventure where you open tab after tab. There are a lot of cross-references, at some point it is hard to gasp what is connected where and how. I’ll try to display here what I clicked on in what order.

The list looks normal. What I find irritating are the numbers. Why are some totally different? Why does the label do not have consistent numbers? And: Why does the list start with “Welcome Idiot”?
After all the weird radio games I am very sensitive to odd things and things that seem coincidentally fitting. I look at some of the albums, starting with “The Sick Rose”. After reading some of the tracklists, I get an eery feeling. This seems to match to me personally? Like the last one:

This album has either changed or there was another one that has been deleted in the meantime. I do remember that I looked at a compilation of different bands, “The Sick Rose” was part of it for sure and with the song titles was described what I did that night at sameheads in December.
I mean what did I do? I met two acquaintances there, S. and F., drank beer and smoked cigarettes – the usual. But that night was special I only didn’t understand until I learned to read the discogs database as a messaging system.
