The disco magic radio is broken again. If I remember right, I had fallen asleep to the radio the night before and woke up because suddenly the volume went up and maybe I heard someone screaming “hey are you still awake or sleeping?”.
Also, I think it was that night that I heard an overlay of someone saying “Why don’t you put that one on your list?”. I had started a playlist on youtube with my disco magic favourites. That list was public and I had liked videos from an account named “Italodisco Supermagic”. I believed that this account was somehow connected to the radio, that maybe it was made by the same guy. And yes, I was hoping it was Carlo and that he would see my list and what songs I especially liked.
So that morning the radio is broken. I go back to ifm, because now I learned, when the magic is broken, the magic dj will play songs at ifm. I decide to do home office, so that I can listen to the radio during the day with speakers instead of headphones. I like the radio shows they put up for me and I also like the fact that now I “have to” return to ifm. In fact, I missed the days when I could listen to ifm’s disco fetish in the background all day. Well, now things are very different.
I start listening around 9. After some time, ifm plays this song: Life Force – Invitation

They also have a jingle, where a voice that sounds a bit like Bob Ross says something like:

And advertising for the upcoming ifm fest end of may is all over the place.
I start to think how I could tell them that I already have a ticket. My friend B. bought it for me. We had planned since christmas to go the festival and she bought tickets for us in February. You have to register to buy them, once registered you can also buy extra tickets with no name on it. So I-F must know, B. has tickets. I wonder, if Carlo is the Youtuber “ItaloDisco Supermagic” and if he saw my playlist and now is hanging with I-F online and playing radio back to back?
I do not have this playlist anymore, I deleted it shortly after the game started. I do have the activity history from my youtube account, so here are the times when I searched for these songs on that day. I also do not remember what songs ifm played exactly, but there was a back and forth and it took them a while to understand what I was trying to tell them – that I have a ticket and I am going with my old gang. I had two public playlists on youtube, “At the Bellend of Dick Street” and “Disco Magic Favourites”. I didn’t want to spoil the Dick Street List, so I put these songs in the Disco Magic List:

I remember that after that song I had the feeling they didn’t get what I meant. The songs I remember that were played after I put the Hawai song in my list, were something like “oh baby, don’t change your mind” or “come on, we are having a party”. After a bit of thinking what to do I remembered this: Me and the Saunaklub were watching the online streaming festival of 2021 and chatting parallel in our chat group. The streaming festival had a ticker, where donators where displayed. One could send any amount of money and a little message and then name, amount and message were showed in the ticker. My Saunaklub friends spammed that ticker pretty well with lots of little amounts of money they send and each time the name was something like “SK Hawaii B” “SK Hawaii P.” “SK Hawaii F.” and so on.

This is how I was introduced into the game. Later that day the discomagic radio was running again and later that night after I had finished with my home office, I started to play the game with my personal radio station.
